Outdoor users repeatedly asked for an extended belt loop – a “dangler” – that keeps the knife accessible even when wearing a jacket or a backpack with a hip belt. With the No.3 Dangler, the sheath hangs at hip height and moves naturally with your leg, allowing you to sit, climb, run, or bend without the knife getting in the way. The Dangler works exceptionally well with popular models such as the Casström No.10 Swedish Forest Knife, ensuring smooth movement and easy access in the field.

Multi-Functional D-Ring

The integrated D‑ring, shaped like a carabiner, unlocks a wide range of practical uses:

• Remove the knife without opening your belt
• Attach it to a backpack or other gear
• Quickly detach the knife in populated areas
• Hang equipment or pull lighter loads
• Anchor a dog leash to your waist
• Suspend a tarp or hammock

Made from robust 8 mm aluminium, the D‑ring has a breaking strength of over 400 kg.

Note: Not suitable for climbing. A fall can generate forces exceeding 400 kg.

Premium Leather Belt Loop

Crafted from 3 mm vegetable‑tanned cowhide – maintain it with Lapland Leather Wax to keep the leather supple and protected. It’s available in Cognac Brown, Black or Dark Brown. It fits belts up to 5 cm wide. The Dangler’s D-ring accommodates knife sheaths with a belt loop up to 34 mm wide.
