Popular Among Outdoorsmen and Women
Outdoors enthusiasts favor the No.10 for its reliability and performance. It withstands rigorous use, embodying everything you need in a knife.
Black Micarta / Stainless Steel Version
- Ergonomic Black Micarta Handle: The handle features beautiful black micarta with a polished finish. Micarta is highly durable and resistant to moisture and dirt.
- Swedish Stainless Steel Blade: Made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, the blade goes through a special Cryogenic hardening process, ensuring exceptional edge retention.
- Full Flat Grind: This grind, coupled with high-quality steel, creates an excellent cutter for various tasks and is easy to sharpen. While not ideal for batoning or prying, it’s optimized for efficient cutting.
Available with Kydex or Leather Sheath
- Durable Kydex Sheath: The 2mm European-made Kydex sheath is washable, lightweight, and customizable (see our range of leather add-ons).
- Sturdy Leather Sheath: Comes with a welted sheath made of vegetable-tanned European leather, featuring a draining hole.
What is Kydex?
Kydex is a thermoplastic material known for heat-formed shapes, ideal for knife sheaths. It is hard, durable, moisture-resistant, lightweight, and requires minimal maintenance.
Cryo Quenched
All Casström knives undergo cryo-quenching. This process, known as cryogenic hardening, involves cooling the steel to extremely cold temperatures using liquid nitrogen. This treatment enhances the steel’s performance at a molecular level, providing the blade with increased wear resistance and making it less prone to chipping compared to a blade with the same hardness that didn’t undergo cryogenic quenching.
Casström Craftsmanship
Casström develops outdoor equipment in Sweden with unique craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Entirely produced in Europe, this knife comes with a 25-year warranty. If you aren’t completely satisfied with your purchase, return it for a full refund. Please refer to the warranty certificate for more details.
